Application, admission, available places, and programme-start.
With the aim of meeting the person-centredness and the quality-objectives of our programmes, the number of places in our PhD curriculum is limited. There are no more than sixteen places available in our postgraduate programme in which English is the sole language of instruction, plus four places for participants in the bilingual English-French programme-version. The places-system combines newly admitted applicants who (will) start their programmes, plus the in-programme participants (students) engaged in the coursework of the first three pillars in the Thierry PhD-curriculum. Places become available for new participants as soon as a number of in-programme participants have engaged into their field-projects (i.e. the fourth pillar).

Admitted PhD programme-participants generally engage into their course-programmes at the beginning of a given month. This usually occurs during the months of August to November, or of January to May. There could be possibilities to start at another moment of the year. In all cases please contact the Director in order to obtain information about the availability of places.
