· Are included in the abovementioned fees, the (e-)tuition itself, and the cost of all learning materials in the PGD curriculum. The learning materials are provided online, for print-out, and are accessible via the personal web-folder of the PGD participant. In case an extension into the fourth year takes place there is an extra fee per extension-month, amounting to Euro 182 per month during the first six months of extension, and Euro 385 per month during the subsequent six months. This amount will be due each month of the extension time-span, and until the curriculum is entirely completed (Comprehensive Essay end-release submitted and approved). If an exceptional extension into a fifth year is required for the PGD programme, the precise number of remaining months before programme completion will be esteblished in writing, and the extension fee in accordance.
· Additional learning or research materials (add-ons, see first paragraph in: Modes) are made available at no extra cost, via the Graduate School's Directorate library, or online via the School's e-library.
· Yearly increases in tuition fee levels do not apply when a participant (1) regularly attended the programme during the previous academic year(s); (2) complied with academic regulations; and (3) completes his/her entire curriculum and Essay within 48 months subsequent to the date of his/her programme-start.
·
There
are no supplemental Summer tuition fees for the Thierry PhD

an agreed number of hours during the Summer-seminar(s) organised by the
School. However, the costs of travel, residence (lodging, meals),
health insurance, leisure, etc, in relation to the Summer seminars
(organised by the School) are borne by the programme-participant
(and/or his/her sponsor).
· The cost of supplemental textbooks, extra research materials,... a participant wishes to purchase, as well as other activities, such as self-chosen external seminars involving travel costs and related expenses, are borne solely by the participant (and/or his/her sponsor).
Payment of fees: (for Modes #1 and 2)
· Tuition fees are due in three instalments, based on an attendance of three years. The first part is due two weeks before the start of the programme (see also next paragraph). The other parts are due respectively 12 months, and 24 months, after the start of the programme.
· An admission confirmation-fee (tuition advance deposit) of EURO 1.500 is due as soon as the admission is confirmed. This amount will subsequently be deducted from the first instalment. The admission fee is not reimbursed in case the participant withdraws before the start of- or during the programme.
2. Tuition Fees, for the Ph.D. part in the Twin Curriculum (= Fourth Pillar, plus Thesis)
· The fees for the PhD depend on the chosen Path and the pertaining educational institution. If the intended PhD is in the same field of study as the PGD (i.e. in leadership), and if the PhD is completed through Path A, then the level of tuition and other fees for the PhD portion will be known before the start of the PhD final stage (re. special agreement with affiliated or partner institution(s), viz. validation).
