Preamble (update). As of 2010-2011 the 'Executive' versions of our master's curriculum in leadership will be offered in modified formats and locations in Europe. The information found below is provided as an overall guideline about the program. The actual course delivery, classroom attendance, online courses,... are subject to slight variations depending on the curriculum formats and geographical locations.   Originally based in Brussels, the scope-location of both the program and its participants has been extended, by means of a commuting system of faculty members, and in certain cases by cooperations. For instance in France with the INSIL, Institut Supérieur International de Leadership. As of 2010-2011, and 2011-2012, the geographical area encompasses (1) north-western continental Europe, a nd (2) south-eastern Europe (contingent on the number of admissions).

Profile of the Participants

The group of participants is international; the 'Executive Team' is composed of persons active in several sectors and professional fields. The group becomes a closely knit team in which the exchange of learning and growth is pivotal throughout the program. Participants could be active in the following positions and/or fields :

· department or division managers and key executives in:

· multinational and local business corporations;

· public, governmental, and international organizations, including the EU;

· not-for-profit organizations and NGO's;

· educational and related institutions,...

· consultancy and accountancy firms;

· training, organizational development, consulting, coaching, and behavioural experts and

  practitioners;

· executives on special leave ('sabbatical' or similar) who wish to articulate their life-career in

  a 'different' way;

· and, generally speaking, experienced individuals who are particularly motivated by personal

  growth, leader-development, and organizational change processes.

The combination of the multi-facetted, regional, and international profiles of the program participants contributes to mutually enriching, horizon-broadening, and stimulating team-dynamics. Effective communication and leadership across private, public, NGO, and other sectors, is also highlighted in the Executive Masters program. Furthermore, during the two-years' time-span each person's growth is strengthened by the relationship-building with each of the fellow-participants -- the source of the Thierry 'esprit de corps', the hallmark of our School's international reputation of excellence in leader development.
