The MBA 'bridge' toward the MA in Leadership

There are important differences between graduate business administration education (MBA) and graduate leadership development or education (MA in Leadership).

The Thierry Graduate School's MBA/MAL Dual Degree programme, the very first of its type in Europe, was highlighted in The Mind of a Leader, a groundbreaking article published in 2002 in 'BizEd' - the official magazine of the AACSB.

The EUROPA-version of our MA in Leadership effectively meets the requirements for the special MBA/MAL Dual Degree programs, and for the post-MBA Masters program in Leadership. However, in order to qualify for MA-admission and transfer-credits within the framework of the Dual Degree system, the MBA you (will) attend or have recently completed at a graduate business school should be accredited by  the AACSB, AMBA, and/or EQUIS. In the Brussels-based EUROPA-program there are max. three seats available specifically for Dual Degree participants.

If you earned an MBA at an earlier stage of your career (or another graduate (management) degree), or if you "only" hold a Bachelor's degree, and meet the MA admission requirements, completing the EUROPA or other versions of the MA program then leads to the awarding of the usual (single) Master of Arts in Leadership degree.
