Lesly Jules StaySail Coach-lecturer, in the capacity of Class of 2008 Ph.D. Alumnus Specialty area: Entrepreneurship, and Organizational Development of NGO's
He currently assists an international organisation that provides
technical assistance to local non-governmental organisations, focusing on sustainability through capacity-building. One of his
programmes
includes a business incubator. Having taught during five years at the
Quisqueya University in Haiti, he enhanced his courses by the rich
professional experience he gained in marketing, business development, and
strategic planning, in the corporate field, and in the non-profit sector. Lesly has travelled extensively, in countries of Latin and Central America, North-America, Africa, Lesly is also one of the founders, and
the chairman, of the “Centre Spécialisé de
Leadership”, a Haitian not-for-profit educational organisation
established in 2006, and which provides continuing education opportunities for executives, more
specifically in the fields of leadership and management.
As a PhD programme-participant of our Graduate School, Lesly
combined his studies with his professional career. He attended our 2006
Residential Summer-Program in Belgium (picture above), during which he lectured on:
’The Importance of Ownership
and Participation in Leading Sustainable Change'. His doctorate
thesis, of which the viva (oral defence) was held in Port-au-Prince,
Haiti, in cooperation with Université Quisqueya, focused
on 'Strategic Mentoring in the Leadership Competency Development
of Small Business Leaders in Haiti'.
