Earning a Masters in Leadership in a home-based distance learning mode: 

The 'Hercules' online e-coached version of the THIERRY Masters program.

When your determination to develop your leader-talent, the specific requirements of your work environment, and guided self-learning are the predominant factors... Perhaps there is an aim or a wish for you to acquire new, or specific, or advanced leadership skills. If you are a busy professional you may experience the need to study at your own pace, while being coached by an expert -- an experienced leader-coach. If such is your aim then we strongly encourage you, wherever you reside in the world, and provided that you have the perseverance to succeed in a distance learning mode, to apply for admission in the online Hercules version of our internationally accredited programme leading to a recognised degree of  Master of Arts in Leadership. The Hercules Learning Framework

The Thierry Graduate School's Hercules programme mirrors the twelve extraordinary accomplishments of Hercules, the hero in Greek mythology ("The 12 Labours or Works"). The curriculum is conveniently divided into twelve interlaced components, blended into a unique programme-structure offered only by our Graduate School. The Hercules learning mode rests on the following base-framework:

(1) Individually-adjusted learning-sets in the Works, made available in a personal Personal Web-folder on our server systems. These folders are accessible from any internet connection in the world, and at all times. A comprehensive personal development 'package' is also included.  Footnote [1]

(2) Local and/or "e-distance" mentoring and coaching (internet and phone), plus a fast response mode by e-mail, as well as a bi-weekly or monthly phone calls (as outlined in the "We Care for Each Person" paragraph below). Personalised feedback is delivered for each of the graded study-assignments. Footnote [2]

(3) The single on-campus Hercules component consists of a two week residential summer-session in Belgium, during the month of July. Each year the Summer institute welcomes twelve to sixteen international participants of our online Masters and PhD programmes. The summer institute includes in-classroom lectures, team-workshops, and ample opportunities for interaction and experiential exchange between participants from around the world (see list in the right-hand column). Of the three areas of concentration (specialisation) currently offered in the Hercules version of our Master of Arts in Leadership, the most often attended ones are Executive Leadership in Corporations, and Environmental Leadership. Throughout the entire Hercules-programme each participant benefits from the individual e-com feedback and phone-coaching by several Thierry Graduate School (e-)coaches, each of them being an expert in the fields of leadership and mastery of change. The design of your Hercules MA-programme will be undertaken by a senior faculty member of the School, and who will guide each person from the start of the application onwards, for instance by suggesting the course-subjects (Works) that correspond to your profile and aspirations. There are a number of advantages in the Hercules-version of the MA, compared to its on-campus sister-programmes. For instance, and provided that one qualifies for admission, and that there is a place (e-seat) available, one can start the programme at almost any point during the year. Your degree,  and graduation

Successful completion of all Hercules curriculum requirements leads to the awarding of a recognised Master of Arts in Leadership degree. A small graduation event is held in July in Belgium for the Hercules graduates who complete their MA programme before 31 May, and who wish to pick up their degree in person. In the other cases the degree will be handed to you in person by the Executive Director (whenever possible, when he foresees a trip to your country, and within a reasonable time-span after the programme completion), or eventually it will be delivered by an express courier organisation.

Footnotes: [1] Each Hercules-participant has a personal web-folder, and attends the programme at his/her own pace (asynchronous learning-mode). [2] The phone calls are made by the coach, regardless of the location in the world, and at agreed times. The costs of the calls are borne by the School. Participants are free to call the coach more frequently, at their own calling-cost (no extra fees for the coaching). [3] In Learning Mode #1.
