Overview of the THIERRY programmes In each of the school's courses there is a comprehensive personal development (leader growth) component, in combination with the formal curriculum, and with the participant's professional life (part-time or full-time occupation). Our courses aim at meeting the needs of the individual, in his (her) being both a learner and a leader. The leader-role (leadership) includes high responsibilities, especially in human terms. We therefore consider that the best leader-learning and developmental mode, one that actually typifies the THIERRY leadership school, is the progressive learning plus one-by-one or person-centred approach. We expect that our programme participants be active in their own working environments, where their enhanced leader-growth (leader-in-action) is effectively being demonstrated. When one seeks admission into our programmes there is one requirement that tops all of the other ones: the individual's strong want or intrinsic will *(and personal meaning, or calling)* to become a (better) leader, or leader-educator*. In our programmes one also experiences the school's cherished esprit de corps,* or "one-to-team-to-one" spirit. The diploma/degree (curricular) programmes The PALS (PGD) plus PhD in Leadership (Advanced Leadership Studies, and Mastery of Change) programmes. The Twin Curriculum, or dual programme, is intended for experienced professionals active in the fields of, mainly, human development; leadership development and education programmes, and in the change processes for organisational or societal improvement and growth. More The DAL (GD) plus MA in Leadership (Applied Leadership Studies) programmes. This dual-paths graduate programme meets the developmental needs of executives in active in various types of organisations. The curriculum blends practice-oriented theory with personal development , skills and competencies, and day-to-day applications of leadership (in leading). More The specialty programmes in Environmental Leadership. The TERRA programmes are aimed at persons who wish to focus on leadership for the environment (green leadership), for instance in view of climate change and environmental policy. The curricula also address personal competencies' development and team dynamics, and lead to certificates, diplomas or degrees. More The special CEO institute The CHRONOS Chief Executive Leader Programme is intended for top-level leaders, for instance in leader succession of large or family-owned organisations, or in head-of-state or similar positions in government or in public or supranational organisations. This unique CEO programme was designed and is offered worldwide exclusively by the Thierry Graduate School of Leadership (in France in affiliation with the Institut Supérieur International de Leadership INSIL, international higher institute for leadership). Corporate programme and training seminars Comprehensive leadership development programmes in business environments, offered in corporate university mode. Residence modules and special seminars The residence programmes include the Summer institute, as well as special residential seminars held at other moments during the year. The Centre for Leadership Education and Advancement Resources (CLEAR - CREAL) The school's CLEAR unit is active in knowledge sharing and other forms of cooperation, through partnerships with educational institutions, corporations, foundations, and governments. More Past programmes The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Leadership Studies curriculum was offered from 2002 to 2008.
