Claims of Intellectual Property (Authorship)

In accordance with the Graduate School's policy for the protection of intellectual property rights, this public notice-board informs interested (third) parties about the rightful claim of intellectual property held by authors for which and by whom the Graduate School has been entrusted with powers of representation, if not the Graduate School itself.

When brought to the Graduate School's attention, the invalid claims of intellectual property and related matters, or the infringements or breaches of copyrights, by third parties, and that could be detrimental to the author(s) or the Graduate School, are listed here until resolved.

Rightful claim of the Graduate School referenced here:

(Re. special notice in footnote #4, and the courses pertaining to MBA, found in the Main Curriculum):  Five graduate-level course-subjects, their corresponding title-names in particular, that constitute a course-set in leadership and management of change. The course-set, of which the intellectual property rights are registered, was created and offered by the author here represented by the Thierry Graduate School, within the framework of a cooperative service-agreement with and at United Business Institutes (UBI) in Brussels, Belgium, and for a sole use in its MBA program, during the time-span of 1October 2001 to 30 June 2004. At the author's request the cooperative service-agreement and the academic relationship with UBI were fully terminated on 30 June 2004. All rights, including ownership and usage rights, of the aforementioned course-set are held solely by the Graduate School, on behalf of the author.

Related infringement, breach, and/or disclaimer (per 17 April 2006) [1]

1. Copyright and property rights infringement, pertaining to a course-set of five graduate-level course-subjects in leadership and change management, their corresponding title-names in particular, of which the intellectual property rights haven been registered by the author represented by the Thierry Graduate School. The course-set is offered without the Graduate School's or author's prior approval or consent, by: Vietnam National University (VNU) in Hanoi (Vietnam) in cooperation with United Business Institutes of Brussels (Belgium).

2. Disclaimer. The Graduate School herewith declares that it rejects claims that the infringing organisations, their users, clients, partners, or associates, or any other third-party, could possibly make, whether explicitly or implicitly, with regard to the course-set  listed under 1. above. This disclaimer entails, for example, that the course-set being used, without the prior consent of the Graduate School, by the infringing organisation, is obviously not validated or endorsed by the Graduate School.
