After having been active for nearly a decade in the heart of Brussels, the school's administration offices have moved to a 'great outdoors' type of environment in the south of Belgium (in the Famenne-Ardennes region of Wallonia). This change took place in December 2009 and is a component of the school's Next Decade plan. 

The move also coincided with the institution's aim of supporting the development of the socio-economic communities found in relatively small urban settings and rural ones, and with the ain of establishing even more closer ties with the natural environment at large. The latter includes a forthcoming research project about the impact assessment of climate change on local forests and rivers, and on the local human community in general. With the change of location the school also demonstrated its contribution in meeting still lower energy consumption and carbon emission goals than was already the case at the institution in prior years. 

The main administration office; the school's library, and the outdoors academy (The House) are located on the territory of two adjacent municipalities, Durbuy and Manhay. Sites  

Another component of the Next Decade plan, initiated in June 2009, was completed in April/May 2010, with the partnership establishment of INSIL in France (in the French Département des Ardennes). 

On a larger geographical scale, the conferences, meetings, courses, and seminars can be held at many locations, whether in Europe or around the world.
